Fixed staff Incentives
SOCOMEP is dedicated to helping employees achieve a healthy work-life balance as well as providing other work incentives.
The implementation of the below incentives demonstrates our commitment to our employee’s wellbeing:
1. Birthday leave: If an employee’s birthday falls on a workday, they are entitled to the day off. Their birthday leave cannot be carried forward and standard annual leave procedures apply.
2. Buying of annual leave: Management will be happy to buy your annual leave if you wish to sell your accumulated days. Your balance needs to be 10 days or above. We will not purchase below 10 days of annual leave. All leave will be payable at time of standard payroll period.
3. Flexi time*: flexi time applies between 07:00am to 17:30. Based on your weekly contracted hours, you may choose your working hours to best suit your life’s needs. Flexi time can be applied only after one year of employment.
4. Long Service Time Off*: If you have worked for the company for more than 5 years you will be entitled to 3 hours off per week. The timetable has to be approved by Management. Time off cannot be carried forward.
5. Long Service Leave**: If you have worked for the company for more than 5 years you will be entitled to one extra day of per year. This day can be carried forward.
6. Christmas Shopping: All employees shall be entitled to a half day (post 12 noon) for their Christmas shopping. Days off shall be signed for (on a first come, first serve basis) between the 1st of December, until the 31st of December.
